About Greene County Criminal History

Greene County criminal records are divided among the sheriff, Circuit and District Courts in Eutaw, municipal courts, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Alabama Department of Corrections, and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Sex Offender Registry. This private reference site organizes those official routes so readers can identify the right portal, counter, mailing address, or phone number without mistaking one record system for another.

Why We Built This Site

Alabama provides several paths to public records, but no free public search combines every part of a Greene County criminal history. The Greene County Sheriff's Office creates sheriff incident records and routes booking questions. The Circuit Clerk keeps filed charges, docket events, outcomes, and sentences. ALEA CJIS maintains the fingerprint-linked state repository, while ADOC covers current state-prison custody and the ALEA registry publishes the lawful public notification record. We organize verified contacts, fees, search limits, and request steps for those distinct custodians.

What You Will Find Here

  • Agency contacts: verified routes to the Greene County sheriff, Circuit Clerk, municipal courts, ALEA, ADOC, and ABPP
  • Record guides: how Greene County criminal court cases, arrest records, and registry information are located and read
  • Official self-review steps: how Alabama's fingerprint-based ALEA review and challenge process works
  • Record cleanup information: where an Alabama expungement petition begins and which official forms control

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no affiliation to an Alabama court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Those boundaries mean:

  • We cannot issue a certified court document, rap sheet, or criminal record
  • We cannot submit an expungement petition or public-record request for a visitor
  • We cannot perform an official background check
  • We cannot give legal advice about a charge, warrant, sentence, or case
  • We cannot promise that an agency's hours, fees, or procedures have not changed

Only the record's custodian, such as the Greene County clerk, sheriff, or ALEA, can issue or certify the official record.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes found on some pages. A provider controls its own service, results, data practices, and prices. If a visitor follows one of those tools to a paid service, this site may receive a referral fee that supports access to the reference material. We do not set the provider's fee or decide what its search returns.
